M&S Knickers - 10 for a tenner!

I tried to get some the other day but they didn't have the colours I wanted in my size. I love the bikini briefs, they sit just right. I tried the garters and they were awful on me, baggy in all the wrong places! I like the look of the shorts but I am petite and think they might be a bit high at the front.
Kiara what a bargain. M&S did that to me but I had to return the items to the store by which time the prices had been reduced again and the poor girl on the till had double the work cos she wasn't sure how to do an internet refun d anyway and then she had to do price overrides.0 -
Bought 2 packs of low rise shorts which are dead comfy so many thanks OP. I wouldn't have thought to look if it wasn't for your post. The low rise shorts are great as I live in low waisted jeans. Might get some more at this price.Hopeless by name, hopeless by nature.0

Check which ones you pick up. I picked up what I thought was 2 packets of cotton shorts but when I got to the till and I was asked for £14 and I queried it. Turns out the packaging for the cotton ones is the same as the tactel ones, bar one word, but the tactel ones are more expensive and not included in 2 for a tenner offer. Went back to the racks moaning and grumbling about unclear packaging and found another pair.0

Nearly 4000 viewings on this topic and I wonder how many are men!!
Problem is us men don't know what styles there are so I was wondering if there were any obliging young lady models on here.
Love to see what is on offer:):):)

Do men prefer knickers or thongs?
by Mr Answer Man
Most men would agree that they feel more comfortable in a pair of crisp white boxer shorts, but as far as the knickers/thong debate goes, the jury's still out. Until a few years ago, the thong - like crotchless knickers, for example - was seen by men as an 'exotic' piece of underwear. If you told a man you wore one, it was usually taken as a sign that you were a bit more sexually adventurous than the average women. Nowadays, however, the thong is such a normal, everyday part of the female wardrobe that it no longer sends out the same signals.
But this question can be looked at on two levels. Most men

agree that, when a woman is fully dressed, the underwear should suit the clothes. The VPL (visible panty line) is still seen as a fashion faux pas and certain skirts or dresses - especially evening wear - look so much better without an obvious panty line spoiling its contours. But if we're talking in terms of using underwear to excite your man in the bedroom, the advantage knickers have over the thong is that there are so many different types - high leg, bikini style, lacy, etc, etc. There's just more to look at, and more to get excited about, with the good old-fashioned knicker. With a thong, you're pretty limited design-wise, except, it comes in various colours. And don't forget, half of it virtually disappears up your backside.
Overall though, it's not a dilemma to get your knickers in a twist over. The best thing to do is wear what feels most comfortable. If a man likes you, believe me, he'll go ga-ga, whatever kind of undies you're wearing."Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0 -
Well, I've looked at the piccy on the website (see my first post with link kindly added by MSE Andrea
) but, they only have packs of plain black, grey and white, and in store they've got tons of really fabulous funky colours!
I got a 'pink' pack of shorts, which had amonst others a baby pink pair, a pink pair with pale blue polka dots on, a blue pair with pink dots on, a pink pair with funky little flowers on - and a 'red' pack of bikinis which had a red pair, a black pair, a white pair with black and red flowers on, and a red pair with black dots on.
If you're after something funky and a bit different, go in store, if you are at all able to, but it's good that they're doing the same offer online even if the choice is a bit limitedI :heart2: Boots

I'm not speaking for all women here, because I know lots of women who wear thongs as a preference - but what men don't realise is that women separate their knicker drawer into those that are meant to be kept ON, (like these M&S ones), and knickers that are meant to be taken OFF (preferably *for* us)
For me, thongs definitely fall into the latter category!I don't mind wearing them in the slightest, but it's only because I know they'll *ahem* (with any luck) be removed at some point in the evening
Men, on the other hand, mainly see women in the kind of knickers that women intend to be taken off, and hence (maybe) not only prefer to think we wear that style all the time (We don't, boys!) but positively encourage it

Well most men do like women in thongs but I have this way of wearing my knickers. I have high legs for monthlys, bikinis for most days espcially for work, I wear shorts now and again at the weekend but in my evenings and weekends I wear thongs. Oh and g-strings dont wear them any more as unconfortable but I do find thongs quite confortable I think you have to wear knickers that suit your mood. I do not ever wear big pants and I feel these are gross. I think bikini ones are what most girls call normal and on the normal woman look the best.
One more thing on the radio the other day a youngish guy 30 ish said he preferred women in "normal" or even big knickers to those in thongs and they were more wholesome lol
I do not think those wearing thongs are more likely to take their knickers off no way!All my views are just that and do not constitute legal advice in any way, shape or form.£2.00 savers club - £20.00 saved and banked (got a £2.00 pig and not counted the rest)Joined Store Cupboard Challenge]0 -
Not interested in knickers but thought I had solved my keyboard problems!
Now have pound sign working OK in word but not when I write emails!!0 -
Hi folks,
I know zip about knickers, but I am willing to learn: can the elastic be re-cycled as a document binder? and is this offer of 10 pairs for a tenner only for wimmin?
I would buy some but the current holder of the mrs Yves title is bound to grumble if I wear the wrong things, or worse if I buy her the wrong things; can't win either way...
Someone, please enlighten me?
Thanks,
Yves0
