Do you have equity or do you owe more than the property is worth.
In order to remortgage you will need at least 5% equity.0 -
Sorry, I purchased the house for 84K nearly 2 years ago in June 2006. However the house had a lot of work done such as damp proofing, brand new kitchen (was only a free standing sink and cupboard when bought).
There is only 6 other houses on my street and none have gone up for sale since I have lived there, I have not had the house valued so do not know if there is any equity. Me and my ex partner originally took out 100K in total using 16K for improvments.
I believe that looking at houses near me 2 bedroom terraced, my house may be worth 105 - 110 but without a proper evaluation I don't know.
