Sky complaint letter success - Feb fee Sky

Hope this is right! Its my 1st one!

Did anyone receive a letter from Sky offering them free movies & sports for Feb? I received one & took them up on their offer & when I rang to cancel the months upgrade they told me I'd have to pay for the full package of £64 that month & then they would credit my account over the next few months.

I wasn't too happy about this & cancelled my direct debit as it was nearly £47 more than I normally pay & it wasn't how I anticipated it would be if it was free & I wasn't advised of this when I took them up on the offer.

I've today received an apology & a £35 credit to my account which is effectively paying for the next 2 months & I've only paid for my basic package for Feb. Result!!!
