Nectar vouchers, how much are they worth?

Can anyone tell me how much Nectar vouchers are worth?
I want to renew my magazine subscription but don't have enough Tesco vouchers, it's £7.20 for 12 issues in clubcard vouchers.
Nectar do the same magazine for 2,500 points for 6 issues (don't have enough points for 12 issues).
I'm wondering how that compares and if it's good value. I have an offer direct from the mag for £14.99 for 12 issues and wonder if that's better.

Nectar
Each 500pts = 2.50
So, divide whatever points you have by 500 and multiply by 2.50 to see what your stash of points is worth. Nectar has some special magazine offers this month.0 -
nectar has to be THE worst loyalty scheme there is.
i changed some points for a voucher at brewers fayre, and its wasnt accepted on mothers day , good job tesco vouchers dont exclude theme parks in august!
so its 14.99 in cash
5000 nectar points for the same deal ( £25 )
£7.20 in deals that you dont have
bit of a no brainer really0 -

Much as I suspected really. Just didn't know what nectar points were worth as we don't often get to Sainsburys, mind you with the lack of clubcard vouchers this time we don't often get to Tesco either!
Note to hubby - make sure there's enough clubcard vouchers this time next year (that way I don't part with any money)!

yes, but when i change them up for argos or sainsbury , do they exclude the same days?
If your changing up your points , then it should be as good as cash ( tesco ones are)0
