Credit Card Refunds

Hopefully someone can help,
I recently bought 3 tvs through a large retailer via the internet. The purchase was completed using a credit card. On Delivery, one of the tvs was faulty. I then the company and continued to do so for nearly 2 months. All i wanted was a refund as the original fault was reported with in the first 28 days (as stated in their policies, not my fault it took so long for them to sort out the problem)
I finally spoke to someone who knew what they were doing, the tv has now been picked up, however they have refunded me the whole amount rather than just for one tv.
How long do you have to wait untill the retailer can no longer request the money back?
(as i see it, its the least they can do for 2 months of fustrating phone calls and the phone bill i will be having) any advise would be welcome.
