Thanks to your support i have completed my forms but...Question HELP

Filled in the forms,printed them off,need to finish raising the cash.
My question is if i contact the court about a bankruptcy date do they assign me an OR there and then and begin the procedure from then?

or do i have a meeting with the OR and then book a bankruptcy date.
plus i want to get my CTC and WFTC paid into a post office basic account,can i set this up before any court or OR contact?

They all work differently. With some courts you get to speak to the OR on the day, but with others (as happened to us) they sent our paperwork over the OR's office after we'd been made BR and she rang us 2 days later for a brief chat and we arranged the time and date for our interviews then

Do contact your court as soon as you can - some are very busy at the moment and the first available dates are several weeks away.

No, the first thing you need to do is contact the court and book your date

Yes, you can set up your post office account for your benefits whenever you like. As this is an account for benefit payments only the OR will have no interest in it

Those should be itemised in the "benefits" section of the your form 6.28. That is Question 6.6.

The OR will get a copy of that form, as it is used by them as a starting point in your case.

Do you actually receive them or to they go straight to paying for your rent and CT? If you do, then yes I would guess you would list them on the I&E section. If you don't and they're paid direct then I'm guessing you wouldn't list them, but maybe explain that you get them in the 'other information' section.

Can anyone more experienced clarify this?

As far as I know you could do it either way as long as you explained. If you didn't include them in your income/expenditure, then you would certainly need to write "something" to explain why you have nothing (or little) down for rent/council tax.

In the sections for those you could put "met/partially met by CTB/HB".

Like most things on the forms, exactly what to do is a bit open to interpretation. But as long as you explain yourself clearly, it's normally OK.

They go straight to LL and council,so the figures i put in my I&E are what i pay for them myself

I HATE that I&E section!

Just when I think I've figured out how it should be done in most cases, something pops up that makes me go 'err.....umm............':o
