advice on working in the finance industry

hope i have posted in the right area sorry if not


my partner wants to work in the mortgage industry he has defaults on his file and they are nearly 6 years old and will all be gone by july but in the post today i recieve two county court claim forms for 2 of the debt that were previously defaulted and they want 11k to not register them would he still be able to get a job at a broker or go on his own with a network if they register them will it stop him getting the jobs.

    Hi la23hin,

    Current defaults or CCJ's on a credit file will stop someone from being a mortgage broker. I am not sure how old they have to be before they do not matter anymore x
