Searching for a mortgage according to LTV

Hi there,
Is there any way to search for a mortgage according to LTV? I mean say 85% or 90%?
The reason why I'm asking is that numerous posts seem to suggest that there are better deals for higher lower LTVs and I'm just wondering about the best way to get 'em.
Cheers.

I've been trying to find better rates for low LTV but with no luck, I think you have to check indivdual companies web sites which is what I've been doing but I haven't seen anything lower than 95% yet) A mortgage adviser would know the companies more likely to do that sort of thing I suppose.April - Battle Strikers game, Book

That is correct, but the deals have been getting thin. However a few are still about. Are you remortgaging? there are some OK 75% LTV available. Speak to a whole of market brocker.0

Thanks, only trouble is they take forever to get back to you!! Is business really booming that much that brokers don't call back when they say they will?Tough times never last longer than tough people.0 -

Brokers should get back to you asap - same with any line of work though, some do and some dont. I wish my plumbers and electricians returned my calls or turned up for aappoinments I've made:rolleyes:
However if they are fee free advisers, and they get the idea that you are just using them as a research tool, then that may be the reason they do no get back to you;)I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. have a look at http://www.moneyfacts.co.uk/searches/mortgage.aspx and http://www.fsa.gov.uk/tables
Both will allow you to search for deals based on your specific circumstances ie income, LTV, loan required etc
Will not be foolproof as will not take into account some of the nuances of lenders' criteria but is a good place to start your research in preparation to talking to a broker - especially as they include lenders not available through most brokersI am an IFA (and boss o' t'swings idst)You should note that this site doesn't check my status as an IFA, so you need to take my word for it.
