Going "self employed" soon, mortgage issues?

Hi all,
Apologies for starting a new thread - I've had a poke around and have seen a nearly relevant thread but didn't want to hijack it....
I'm going to be setting up on my own with a Ltd company soon (am currently employed) and am worried about our mortgage borrowing potential, as we're young and are in our first home at the minute (mortgaged).
If I do this, I would potentially be earning 50% more than I'm on now. Will this be seen as less reliable than if I were on my normal salary in my current job?
Issue is we'll need to move in the next few years and I don't want to go ahead with this if it's going to leave us in our current place forever!
Thanks
