hi all
love the site and i need advice
i have an rpa which pays a monthly sum in which my wife and i live on however with rising costs etc we are struggling to survive
my question is are we locked in to this or are there any alternatives
we took it out in 2000 and it pays until 2010.
any help greatly appreciated

Lifetime Annuities and compulsary purchase annuities are a once in a life time purchase. Once done, you cannot go back and change them.
You say it pays out until 2010. Are you sure this is a pension linked annuity as they will pay out until death.
