Cold here in Edinburgh but lovely and sunny with no snow as yet!

Made it clear to everyone today that I'm not going on the office team-building event on Friday as I can't afford it. Embarrassing, but less embarassing than getting there and being unable to pay my share. Soooooooo, on Friday yours truly will be at my desk while everyone else is on a flight!

There's nothing so devisive as money, is there?!
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

I feel so relieved at just saying 'no'. The stress of worrying about trying to find the cash before Friday has been quite awful. Still, it does stress to them how much i need a payrise!

Bathgate, it looked as though it would be quite an expensive event anyway, so to make an assumption that all could afford it was a little cheeky. Glad you feel better for telling them :)

Still blue skies & cold at the sunny Lancashire seaside.....mind you, haven't actually seen the sea today - might have a touristy drive down the Prom on my way home.....:)
