How to connect Ipod to Honda Civic (2006-new shape)

Hello,
I don't know if anyone can help, however I have a 2006 plated Honda Civic 1.8 SE and would like to connect my Ipod to it. The car has the standard radio/CD unit installed. I spoke to HONDA and they say it's possible however will cost about £200 !!
Im sure something like this is fairly straight forward to do -- does anyone know how?
Any help would be greatly received..
