I hate NTL but they have all the Sky Sports channels for free for one year.
I would consider this if I was a football fan but otherwise wouldnt touch NTL for TV with a barge pole

Yeah i saw that offer :S New customers only :@ We didn't get any special offers when we signed up, so its annoying that they give that for free, especially when you add up how much its actually worth0 -

If you have been a customer for over a year, call and tell them the bill payer has left the home. They will allow you to cancel the contract and start a new one in your name. If you are the bill payer, get your partner to call
Hey presto, 1 years free sky sports and also 1 months free internet0 -

Been a customer with NTL for 7 years and we don't get s****. Going to try and get broadband for £9.99 for a year and also the free sky sports for a year.
We got all their services, tv phone and internet, its about time they give us something back!
Oh btw what number would you call to try and sweet talk the person? If possible whats their opening hours?0 -
When I called to say we were gonna switch, we got a saving of £239.88 over 12 months.
I'd guess if you called now, you would get the same as me - 1MB BB for £8.50 and free line rental for a year, which means you could upgrade to sky sports and still be quids in
or get free sky sports for 12 months and free line rental0 -
I called 0800 052 1934, the person I spoke to was very helpful, I told them my flat mate had left, and within ten minutes the new account as agreed, and I will have sky sports free by Friday. The day I was going to be phoning to upgrade the old flat mates account :j
The only downside is they need to send an engineer to your property, however, there is no loss of service.0 -

How did you get the 1mb for £8.50 and the free line rental as well? Phoned up today and got the bb for £9.99 for 12 months [although others say its only 6]
What did you say for the line rental free? I currently pay £10.50 for line rental0 -
