'Over £1bn worth of Wedding loans this year… not good' Blog discussion
Comments
-
The first time I ever picked up a bridal magazine was 2 years after I was already married and I spluttered at the costs of things that they talked about as "perfectly normal", like 800 GBP on a cake!
My own wedding was on the north coast of Spain (I moved here a few years ago) and the whole thing cost less than the dress my sister got married in.
I think it's sad when people spend too much, it's like they're trying to impress other people with a false display of wealth...status anxiety anyone?0
