Approx cleared income on Salary

I've been contracting in London for the past year, and have just been offered a permanent position with bonus's in the company I've been working for, over the past 10 months. As a result of this, its quite a substantial pay cut, but the benefits (in the long term) appear huge, as there's bonus's, healthcare, holidays, sick pay, personal leave and they want to get me into management roles within 6 months or so. It's the kind of company thats grown exponentially within the year I've been there (from 15 when I started, to over 70 now) and I've already got people under me at the moment.

I want to go for it (if things aren't looking up within 9 months to a year, I'll move on), so I'm trying to work out from a financial point of view whether it's feasible to make the change. The permanent salary offered was in the range of £35k - £38k. As an approximation, how much would I clear a month on this salary?

As a contractor, I'm getting stung paying employers NI, so my take home pay isn't as good as it looks on the contract itself, but I'd say I average about £2,700 - £3,000 a month, cleared into my bank account. I can handle £100 or £200 a week less, but if its much more than that money might become tight!
