Size 13 Trainers - The Big Hunt

Calling all fellow bigfoots.

Does anyone know where you can get large size (adult 13) trainers from in the UK? I currently use a mail order service called walktall but they can be overpriced and a bit unreliable. Most "big/tall" shops just sell smart shoes...
Anyone know of a decent source?

Cheers!

I'm presuming you are talking about mens?

They sell mens trainers and shoes in a size 13 in Brantano's : http://www.brantano.co.uk/

Dont most big sport stores do size 13's now? I'm sure JJB do?

Clarks do a range of casual shoes - some look like trainers in a size 13. Not all stores stock them but they can let you know whats available and possibly order them for you.

    Hope that helps a bit.

I take 12s /sometimes 13s and never seem to have any problems finding them in sports stores like Quackers says.

I got my last pair of 13s @ one of those 'Donnay Sports Soccer' 70% off places, the other ones I got from a Nike retail outlet.

M & M Sports has a "Large Foot Size" section. It does has some less than large sizes in the products within it (such as 4-7) but there are a fair few 12s and the odd 13s if you are prepared to browse

I'm size 13 too, and the only place I can get trainers that big is to go to the Cheshire Oaks Outlet Village in Ellesmere Port.

My son takes a size 13, some sports shops do stock them. Sometimes 12s are particularly roomy though and he can wear those. His current trainers are from Asda, theye're a big size 12.

https://www.sportsshoes.co.uk do a "big foot" section, and often have larger sizes in their sales albeit in very limited quantities - they've also got a 20% off all orders til midnight tonight and they've got stock of size 13 trainers from £15.99.

Whenever I'm in France I pop into Decathlon or Go-Sport. I think the UK has more big-footed people, so consequently I generally always find size 13s at sale prices in these shops.

You could try Decathlon in the uk as they have 7 or 8 big shops around the country (Nottingham, London). I love this shop as it is a proper Sports shop, not one that just sells chav clothing.

Alternatively Magnus (http://www.magnusshoes.com/) have a limited range of trainers. This company supplies High & Mighty with their shoes.

Thankyou very much to everyone for your contributions! It is amazing how difficult it is to find trainers in my size. I dream of the day I can walk into topman for example and just pick a pair off the shelf! I'm sure there must be loads of demand for 13s, so it seems crazy to me...
    Anyway, thanx everyone! :T :T :T

I do understand your problem, I am 20 and I have size 14/15 shoes, so I find it difficult to find shoes that fit, the best place i recomend is Brantano, but some stores dont stock too many large sizes, its a matter of striking it lucky...

If that fails your best bet is Mail Order... there are a few websites about that do large shoes, http://www.bigsize.co.uk/index.html These are based in Street, Somerset, I have bought a couple of pairs of shoes and trainers from them. rather reasonable... I have also used these http://www.walktall.couk.com/ they have a wide range, of modern and fasionable shoes, but you do have to pay for them the other alternative is that you go on ebay and have a look, or order direct from the US, where they openly stock large sizes on the shelves, if only the same could be said about this country...

    Regards
