Sky Plus Series Link

Apologies if this has been answered before - I've had a quick look through both this forum and the Techie forum (where I suspect this post might be more suited - I wasn't sure which one to use!).

I've had IPTW on series link since the second episode. However, when reviewing my other scheduled recordings I noticed it was not there any more.

I assumed that the series had therefore finished. But on checking the schedule it was there for next Wednesday (04 March). I duly set it to record but the series link was not available.

I know that the series link facility is not available on all series but I didn't realise some programmes changed this facility during the series.

I'm aware this might be something to do with the actual Sky+ service (the electronic programme guide?) as opposed to IPTW itself. I've only had Sky+ a couple of months so I'm not familiar with all its quirks.

Anyone got any comments / suggestions / answers?

I noticed that also. Interested to see if anyone knows why?

It also doesn't work on Freeview Humax 9200 which supports series link as of Jan 08, I suspect its a problem with ch5 as I cant find anything that works with ch5 for series link. It normally shows up a different blue colour on the EPG

I've just checked my Sky planner, I'm also not able to select series link either.
I've always had it on series link from week one, so I don't understand why it isn't working now...

Its still on my list for recording (not Sky) although I did check the next week and on the 12th there is football so no IPTW set for that night.

Don't forget to set it for Sunday 9 March at 10.00 to 11.00 for the repeat plus the IPTW More show.

Glad to see it's not only me. I'll try recording the Sunday night repeat instead with the More show and see if that lets me link it.

Maybe (this is pure speculation) only one showing can be enabled for series link, and the powers that be have delegated the Sunday night repeat with the More show to have this status?

John's right. I'd got the whole series set to record on series link but this week's programme isn't listed on my programmes to be recorded.

It isn't given as an option to add series link now but the extra show is working as normal.

Must be a problem with your Sky as I just checked my freeview pvr again and both IPTW are set to record on the correct dates.

BTW John, Wednesday is 5th March and not the 4th
