I wanna Harry Potter book

Ok mum in law has asked for the most recent Harry Potter Book for her birthday in a few weeks time. Now i am totally NOT into all the Harry Potter stuff but have discovered from a bit of Googleing that the most recent book is Deathly Hallows :o
She has said she would prefer paperback if possible but i can only seem to find hardback. Does anyone know if the p/b version is out yet or where i could find out.
Also i have seen there is an Adult version and a Childrens version of the same book. What is the difference
Thanks for any help ;)

The difference between the adults and childrens is just the picture on the cover - I think they realised most adults really loved the books but were embarrased with looking like they were reading the childrens version!
The paperback isn't released until 5th July 2008 - sorry.

No worries! I have the hardback of the DH and I just can't get into it. Hope your MIL enjoys it though!

    Hiya,

The lastest book is Deathly Hallows and I'm pretty sure after asking my son who has the collection that it's still only the hard back book which is out just now and I've nor he has any idea when the paperback will be out.

As for the difference between the books i.e. adults and childrens it's only the paper cover, the contents are just the same.

As for where to get the best price, I'd try the likes of Asda or Tesco (using money off coupons is always a bonus), and you will probably get it for around £10 there, maybe even a bit less. (Showing as £9.84 on Tesco website, £11.93 on Asda website although they are showing a pre-order for £5.93 for one of the books with no date which is more than likely the paperback.

    Hope this helps.
