Does any1 have a promotion code 4 NTL? New customer deals maybe?

Not sure if there are any codes as NTL are always doing special offers in their rush to get new customers, currently they offer:

- 12 months free Sky Sports 1, 2 and 3 when you take out the family package £19.50 per month

- £9.99 per month for 1MB Broadband.

I phoned NTL's freephone sales line a couple of days ago because I was annoyed at paying more than new customers (I was paying £15.99 for broadband which is now being offered for £9.99). The girl I spoke to immediately told me they could do me a better deal and switched me over to their 3 for £30 offer (tv, phone and broadband) saving me about £10. If you phone the regular customer number they will say they can't offer you anything, but the sales line can.

Also, if you order online you get a £10 discount on your first bill. I think they also have a recommend a friend offer where a friend can get something like £30 off their next bill for every friend that signs up.

when my boyfriend signed up to ntl he told them he had been recommended by me and all they did was ask my details and then a few months later think it was after he paid 3 months worth of bills i got £30 and he got a tenner..

there's no link for the recommend a friend. I think you just mention it when signing up and they will take their account details. I heard about this during the recorded messages they play whilst waiting in the queue for sales.

For existing customers, threaten to leave NThell then they will come crawling and begging to you with offers to get you back. I got half price internet and free telephone line rental for a year
