Thanks to all for the kind wishes. My mum is being oh so practical and is off shopping today for new nighties and dressing gown for her possible hospital stay. She said on the phone this morning, well if I have to go in I want new stuff to wear. Typical woman! Her best friend is waiting to hear the news of her first mamogram so my mum is worrying about her rather than worrying about herself. A distraction I guess?

    Thanks again!

rainmac - sorry to hear about your Mum.
She's obviously in the same frame of mine that my friend was who has a cluster of ovarian cysts ............she went shopping as if she was going on holiday..............lol Mind you it kept her feeling positive which makes a lot of difference.

Rustyflange - I ordered some of the alphabets too, I thought they were good value for 99p as you get quite a few letters.
Rainmac - so sorry about your Mum, I too have everything crossed! What did you end up ordering from that site???
Craftygranny - I got some Mickey stickers too. I might pop back and see what else I can get, sounds like you got loads. I think I'll get some matching backing papers so that I can make some disney cards. I found a website (2.00 postage), that sells quite a few disney papers (12 x 12 size) for 49p each if anyone's interested. I love the fact that the Karen Foster stickers are cardstock - so easy to use.
For anyone that ordered the cds from scrapbookingmad, I ordered mine at about 4pm yesterday and they were delivered today! What excellent service, I'm going to have a play with them later hopefully. I got 3 cds - the princess one, the noah's ark one and the santa one.

I ordered 8 downloads and have saved them on the c drive but need OH to come home to tell me how to open them as they are zipped files

I ordered Fairy Tales decoupage (£1.50), Country Christmas clipart (50p), Christmas Critters clipart (50p), get well soon bear decoupage (free!), flower patch decoupage (free!). butterfly decoupage (free!), noah's ark decoupage (free!) - I LOVE this one!, christmas holidays bears 1 clipart (free again!). The files were available to download as soon as I had paid the pricely sum of £2.25!!! What service :D

Also going to get some bits from Magpie Craft (is that right?) on ebay as she's got some real bargains in the shop.

Rainmac - the images from scrapbookingmad look lovely. I'm going to try and download my freebies again later. I think it is Maggie's crafts, I think the seller is Ginwitt or something. She's lovely, I got some K & Co hannah embellishments from her and I wanted to get an alphabet that matched. So she looked through all of her stock to see what would colour co-ordinate. It was fast delivery too.
  • hi ladies.

not sure if this is the right place to post, but i was in lidls tonight and they have lots of craft pieces in just now, i got a nice wee 20 piece glitter set for £2.99 and a 50 piece craft set, with different pieces of paper, vellum, cards etc, a cutting mat, a knife and some blades, for £3.99. was a little disappointed as there was a 320 piece for £3.49 but the lady in front got it before me :(

just thought if maybe they are in your lidl stores they may be a welcomed addition :)
