Local Government Pension - and claiming tax relief (higher rate)

I have been paying into a local government pension scheme, and as far as they are aware I am a standard rate tax payer.
However, I am also self employed in my spare time, and actually pay higher rate tax.
Am I entitled to claim back tax relief on my pension contributions ??
Thanks in advance.
