Is anyone here into OS flower arranging? If so, where do you get your supplies from and what projects are you doing at the moment?I really fancy having a go but everything seems so expensive - the local florist wanted to charge £7 for a small block of oasis!!! And greenery seems quite difficult to track down (I live in a flat so don't have access to a garden). But I'd love to talk flowers if anyone else here is into it too!

Haven't done any for year now...............it was one of those things I did and always intended to carry on at home, buying myself some flowers every week and doing them properly. But like a lot of things I let it slip..............now OH buys me a bunch of lilies every week and three of them in a vase look good.
I used to get my oasis from our local florist at the time..........but I'm sure you can get it from other places............garden centres might do some cheap offers. Haven't really looked lately.
Flowers can be expensive as well depending on what you choose..........I always went for whatever was cheapest..........amazing what you can do with three irises and a bit of foliage.
At our class we did one arrangement that was all foliage of different sorts that you'd find either in the garden or hedgerows..........can't get much cheaper than that and it looked a treat...............(now getting strong yearning to grab some foliage from the garden..........................)Mary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !
