i want a camcorder for recording childs sport event

Can anyone recomend one please? Dont want to pay for features i dont need. Would like to be able to play it back easily for DS to watch.Any advice welcome as never had one before and not very technical!!

I'm not posting to recommend one, but before you buy a camcorder especially for an event, it might be worth checking that you will be permitted to use it - lots of places these days don't allow filming of kids' events unless you have the written permission of everyone who has ever had a child!!0
