once u have £40 an option appears under your account to give details to get it paid into your bank account

I also use Onepoll, sure it's a legit one. I also use Global test market, valued opinions and lightspeed. Get quite a lot of surveys from them and have been paid out by all 3. Global test market pay you by cheque, valued opinions in vouchers and I usually get lightspeed money put into my paypal account.

I think by the way that You Gov is going I will probably expect £50 in around 20 years time lol!

I have made over £150 with yougov in 2 years. I am quite happy with that.
I currently have nearly £475 saved up on global testmarket too.

I would be happy with that too, but I have been here a while now and b=nver known anyone say they reached £50 in less than two years. How did you manage to make 3 X more than the rest of us?

I would also consider anyone who let £1000 build up on on ANY web site to be a plonker. Why didn't you withdraw it when you reached the minimum payout (£25) and put it in a bank account where it would earn interest?

That's 40 payments you have missed where you could have had the money. And as you clearly don't need to spend it you could have had it earning interest for you.

Anyone else joined a survey site that pays out when you reach £25 and been daft enough to let it build up to £1000?

I know I'm just a penny pinching MSE Stalwart, or convert or whatever I am now, but when ever I reach the minimum payment for ANY site I want that money in my account not theirs. There is no way I would let a stranger keep £1000 of my money in their account and collect the interest on it.

I may be able to help you there. Just save enough money to buy a DVD Recorder and record Frasier so you can watch it when you get home.

I think any recommendation depends on what 'you' are looking for and what you are up for.

How do you feel, for example, about recommending products to others? There are a plethora of home-based businesses available, many of which are completely reputable, that are involved with you believing in a product and then by 'word-of-mouth' moving those products to other people; money exchanges hands and you make a profit.

Home-based businesses have several tiers of activity, so the one just described would be for those who wish to simply create a very modest, very part time income. Time = 2-5 hours per week and income = £50-£500 per week.

Naturally the rewards are proportional to your activity level.

I don't know if that stimulates some thought for you, perhaps it may be your 'cup of tea' or not - you know 'you'.
