Available in Asda for 9.99.
Made by Philips and allows 4 devices to attach to your TV via SCART connection. Whereas some of the cheaper multi-SCART sockets need manual input to change the device output shown by the TV, this one is entirely automatic.
Works great with my video, freeview & DVD player.

Actually saw one of these yesterday in 'Home Bargains' (also trade as Quality Save) - again, all automatic for - 59p!
They had quite a big stock of them, but obviously I don't know if all stores will have stock or not - worth checking out at the price though!0 -
Thanks - got one today, but didn't realise it plugs into the mains, got no powers left by my equipment so will need to get an extension lead0

The ones at home bargains are not switched..
All sockets are interlinked. You will find that many items will not work properly or have a distorted picture when using these.
I have a couple of these , and they are not suitable for connecting even just 2 devices to one RGB scart socket. They might be ok for games consoles connected with one other device, but not for sky/freeview , DVD or video ( you get ghosting)
Hence , this is why there are switched boxes ( or auto-switching in the Philips example)0 -
Bought the Philips one from Asda a while ago, just could not get it to work with Sky and a DVD though. DVD player picture was distorted/grey(even without the Sky box going through the switching box), shame really as for the price iit looked ideal0

Yes, I bought one of these in Asda yesterday and with just a video and a console plugged in I am getting some audio bleed from the video (or rather from the input into the video) when the console is on. Only when the video is in standby though. Hmm... Haven't had a chance to play properly with this although it seems dodgy at the mo.

You can get a much better picture by using good quality 'gold' scart cables with these switchers.
Good on Asda for selling these at such a good price...Maplins' equivalent is £19.99. Mine works great with Sky, Freeview, VCR and DVD although the spaghetti behind the TV is verging on the ridiculous.0 -
Excellent device, only problem I've had is that it screws up the teletext on the TV, but the TV is 12 years old and my dvd player does the same thing to the tv.
Certain made life easier0 -
I bought one of these and it works great I have my sky , dvd and vidoe hooked up through it with no problems. well one slight annoyance is that on some sky channels it drops it signal when the ads come on and reverts to normal tv . but its ok just a minor annoyance0

Just bought one and plugged Sky, DVD in (will plug in Playstation too soon . Works great no bleeding of colours or sound (which I got from my old ones and ive tried a few).Look after the pennies and the pounds will spend themselves0

I picked up one of these the other day too, that sorted a few nightmare problems getting 3 rgb signals to 1 rgb socket on my tv. WHY did Toshiba give me 3 scart sockets, but only 1 rgb ????0
