  • These are the small bottles as well, usually can get big bottles (X 20) for a tenner at my local Tesco
  • my aldi had 20 bottles of 330ml stella for £11 or £12
  • Don't be misled by the price/bottle - the price/litre is what counts. Netto consisently sell Stella (18x330ml) at £8.99 - that equates to £1.51/litre. Tesco are not the cheapest on a whole host of products

    If you buy 330ml for £10, for the extra £2+ you get 20x80ml = 6.4 x250ml bottles = 31p each

If you bought the equivelent in 250ml bottles, for £10 you would only get an extra five bottles as they are about 40p each.

So you get an extra 300ml ish if you get the 330ml bottles instead.

[note]This post was created during part of the hour wait holding on the phone, waiting for an advisor at e2save... rang at 16:45 and they close at 6 :(
  • The yardstick still remains cost/litre however you skin it

    sainsburys have 24 x 440ml at £14.98 = £1.42 / litre
    or 40 x 330 (2 x 20 x 330ml) for £20 = £1.52 / litre
