All I've managed so far is put some rubbish out, make the bed, do the washing and hang it up to dry. I've got a huge task ahead of me tomorrow!

Are your bags packed yet keren?

I am waiting around because my hosemate/landlord said a plumber was coming at midday but they haven't shown, but I need a shower as am off to a wedding reception that I don't want to go to this evening and am trying to get him to tell me if the plumber is coming or not so all I can do is sit here and wait until I know the answer. It is going to take a long time to make this sorry mess look presentable.

Also had to get up early as were meant to be viewings (housemate has put flat on the market) but they didn't show either. Aaaarrrrggghhh - an utterly unproductive day due to the chaos of other people.

OK if I had tried I could have done something productive but where would be the fun in that??

No pap, not packed, but I got everything out of the wardrobe the day before yesterday and did a dummy run pack. I am determined to take a smaller bag this year!!!

I put it all back in the wardrobe as a few bits are cheesecloth material (nearly put cheesecake!!!!!!!!!!) and they would have looked like screwed up dish rags by the time we arrived!

Shouldn't take me more than 30 minutes or so to re-pack it all tomorrow.

OH is doing headless chicken routine - he's done nothing and was last heard off heading to town muttering about 'socks and pants' followed by 'jeans........will they dry in time'............he is VERY particular when he starts packing and he phones me up from his house going 'I'm packing 27 shirts and 46 pairs of socks do you think I'll need to pack more?'

I think you go on some very interesting holidays if you just take pants and socks Bunny!!

He brings back loads of ciggies as he is a fervent smoker so he can never decide what holdalls to take, which to put in the hold, which to put his clothes in, which to take empty  I told him to take the big case I normally use - he said 'i'm not taking that - it's too heavy' - but it was ok for me to lug it around when I took it!!!
