A&L won't pay incentive

I joined A&L several months ago when they were offering £50 cashback (£25 for current account plus £25 for opening and using credit card)
I received the first £25 but despite three letters to them (enclosing copies of their offer) they still won't pay the 2nd £25.

I've complied with their conditions - how do I get them to pay?

I assume that you opened the two accounts at the same time, and there's no issue with the linking between the two accounts? If you are getting nowhere by writing, try phoning A&L customer relations. The phone number's on the website, and it's not an 0870 one either!

As per the previous post, where did you write to? If you wrote to A&L Credit Cards (aka MBNA) it isn't surprising they would have been pretty useless as it's not them paying the £25.

I've been writing to the Customer Contact Centre at Bootle. Have supplied them with copies of their offer (which I'd downloaded at the time) but they just say that they "have liased with the relevant department" and the only offer at the time was the single £25.

I just wish they'd stop liasing and start reading the info I've sent them!
