Sick Pay

I'm sorry if this has been asked before..... My company has deducted my wages for two days sick I had this month. In the past they have paid me so it was a bit of a shock. I don't take time off that often - its quite rare in fact. I work full time, and have been there for three years. Is sick pay paid at the company's…

The thing is that they should either pay it, or not. Sometimes paying it or sometimes not paying it leaves them open to suggestions of discrimination etc.

We pay full pay for up to two weeks if you've been with us for less than a year, going up to 3 months if you've been there longer than that. But that's out in our terms and conditions of employment, and they apply to everyone, all the time.
