My mum has hosted students for years. They have usually been mature students and are staying with her to see other parts of the country apart from where they are studying. My mum loves it and takes them to see different things in the local area. It's quite interesting to meet the different students from different cultures and mum has loads of photo albums with pictures of them all and lots of them keep in contact with her. She has never moaned about any of them.

Hiya,my mum used to take students in (high school students) when i was at school,at the time it was voluntary but now the company are paying,i would say the students will fit into the way you live as they are here not only to learn but to experience a different way of life, our students all grabbed toast on the way out to school with me cos we where usually running late lol, they ate the same as us at night and there parents sent them pocket money for lunches at school. I am still good friends with my students and they have even been back to visit their neice (my daughter) it was a great experience and i would say go for it especially if you have teenagers. our students shared my room and the final year we done it my mum took in 2 and got bunk beds, hth people thought it might be nice to get a view from the child who had to share her house and her friends lol
