Surveyor in/around Bolton (Damp / Wall coating expert)

Hi
Can anyone reccomend a surveyor in or around Bolton, Lancs to survey a property with external wall coatings and dampness. Most of the companies Ive called don't deal with it and are reluctant to reccomend anyone.
Im looking to find the source of the dampness and if it is the wall coating be given advice on either repair or removal and an outline of associated costs.

Hi, I used one from around Bolton somewhere, who I would steer clear of!! But I cant remember the name now. if you want to pm me the name of who you eventually decide to use, i can see if it jogs my memory or not!!
They did a DPC for me which failed (mouldy walls within months). On the plus side, they phoned up for payment, and I said 'ooh i'm gladd you've phoned, i want you to come down and see the mould on my walls'. strangely i didnt hear from him again so couldnt pay!*** Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly ***
