I am pretty sure your overdraft does not come up on your credit file, as there are no monthly payments. I don't think your bank account is even listed.

Missing catalogue payments will affect your score. I would say two or three months late will mark you down a bit, and four, five or six months late looks very bad.

Your overdraft and bank account does show up on a credit report and it is taken into account when you are credit scored.

Doe it only show up if you are overdrawn? I got my credit file recently and bank account wasn't on it, but then I am not overdrawn.

    NH,
Was the credit file your ordered from Equifax or Experian? On my Experian file both my Smile and Halifax Current accounts are listed along with overdraft amounts and also whether there have been any payments missed in the last 36 months.

M Thompson, it was Experian. I have Nationwide, First Direct, lloyds and NatWest current accounts but none of them showed. I am not sure what exactly they would show because it is not a debt you are paying monthly so what exactly do they tell Experian? Your balance or your overdraft limit or how much you are overdrawn? Maybe it is only certain banks that provide info to Experian.

The searches were listed on the file though.
