This sounded brilliant and I was all set to click checkout.

Then I read the requirements! Half-gig of RAM, DX9 graphics card, and pay a monthly subscription.

So price is actually pretty good but make sure your PC and wallet are up to scratch first.

* 1 month (30 days) plan at £8.99

* 1 year (365 days) plan at £87.99

Your account to use The Matrix Online game will be activated once you have registered to play the games (including selecting a Subscription Plan), submitted your form of payment and accepted the Terms and Conditions of Use. Subscription fees cover the entire time period you choose (the "Subscription Period"). For example, if you pay the subscription fee for the 1 month plan your Subscription Period is one (1) month, and if you pay the subscription fee for the twelve (12) month plan, your Subscription Period is one (1) year. If you register using the free initial 30-day offer that accompanies the purchase of the game software, 30 days will be added to your initial Subscription Period. The Matrix Online property has been sold and rumours suggest that most staff have been laid off. Not a good thing when it comes to an online game:
