E: 17/03 Win two Chris Rea tickets

Chris Rea rasped his way into our hearts in the mid-eighties, hitting the big time in 1989 with his fantastic album, Road To Hell. For the years that followed, he ducked in and out of the charts with a succession of hits, going from Rock to Blues.
After becoming ill and being given the odds of a 50% survival rate, Chris’ view towards his music drastically changed. This near death experience showed him that time was precious and accentuated his priorities. He promised himself that he would follow his own musical path instead of succumbing to the influence of an industry that had shackled his creative control.
Chris began to embark on his dream and created his Blues sound. He went on to sell in excess of 150,000 copies of 'Dancing Down the Stony Road' proving, not for the first time, his instinct was correct.

2008 will see the return on Chris Rea under the guise of two new musical creations; The Delmonts and The Fabulous Hoffner Bluenotes.

Hand-in-hand with The Fabulous Hoffner Bluenotes comes a Spring tour.

To celebrate the return of Chris Rea, we have two tickets for his gig at the Birmingham Symphony Hall on Sat 22nd March.
