MFW challenges

Hi all,

I've just signed up to the make £10 extra a day in march challenge and thought that maybe we should have some challenges going over here - you know to liven it up ;)!

Any ideas? I'll have a think this eve.

    I'm rubbish at challenges!
No idea how to make extra money and always blow my grocery challenges!
I do like watching them though!

  • Hi,

Doesn't the MFiT count as a proper challenge then (said with a smile ;) ) ?

Hmm...I reckon that MFW challenges are more of a high level challenge (e.g. overpay £250/month or whatever) and then, if you want to work on how to get that £250/month, it's a good idea to join a DFW challenge (e.g. your £10/day one) where you work on implementing it.

Something else that has struck me recently is that the MFW board seems to be getting lots of offset/CAM related questions, including quite a few people trying to work out how those mortgages work and whether they'd be a good deal for them.

Maybe we need a sticky thread on offset mortgages, including pros and cons, how to calculate the interest etc?

We could direct them over to the Mortgage thread as there is an offset sticky there:

    Hi Angela,

Good idea - I hadn't even realised that there was a Mortgages board ! (Bit obvious, when you think about it, this being a financial website and all :D )
