Although I don't think this is a question for this board
, why don't you write to the company and ask? Email them a quick question, tell them how much you love them, and they might send you a freebie or some vouchers.

Hi
My mum loves butterpuffs but we couldn't get hold of them anywhere. I contacted the company and they said that the bad floods that happened earlier in the year flooded the site where they make them, and ruined all the machinery. They are in the process of moving the production line to another factory and will be making them as soon as they can0 -
If they're made in Carlisle (McVities), they will be in short supply, along with Carr's Water Biscuits, McVities Ginger Nuts and other stuff normally made there, due to the 8th January floods.
Factory was under 10 feet of water.
The government paid about £5 million to McVities to get the factory going again - the 3000 homeowners who were also flooded out of their houses were unsuprisingly unimpressed by this...
....in fact, they though that they were taking the biscuit....
(sorry, bad, but appropriate pun!!!)British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
