It can be done! I got just 2 illuminating powders for my daughters, and decided that my ridiculous compulsion to collect points which I do anything to avoid spending had to be addressed. So I've stopped popping in to Boots, or looking online. I am astonished and horrified by how much longer cash stays in my purse.

Try working in Boots! It's impossible not to spend! :o

Hi, where do they keep the mags in Luton as I forget to look for them?

So nothing there today then, was going to pop in but I had a decorator at home so had to get back to pay him lol Glad I didn't miss anything

They had some mags on the No7 counter. But I forgot to get one, duh!
I had DD nagging in my ear. She has no patients with my bootsing. Well, I do spend rather a long time in there...got to make sure I don't miss anything:rotfl:

I'm looking forward to the new 17 offer as i like their range, am hoping for some mags in my online orders that i'm planning later.

Might try and get an extra one for my niece as planning a pink theme pressie for xmas for her.
  • I think I had some good bargains tonight in my little tiny teeny weeny store in Ferndown (Sainsburys) store:-

No 7 Protect and Perfect Anti-Ageing Facial Sun Protection SPF25 reduced to £4.75
No 7 Awakening Eye Gel reduced to £4

Hope these are bargains throughout the chain!

  • on no what a nightmare chick, im glad you eventually got it to go through

why do SA act like this  if I worked in boots I would be happy for customers to get a little bit back.

SAs act like this because there is a security team in every store giving orders and watching all till transactions to ensure they go through exactly. If anything comes up as "suspicious" in your till log you get hauled in front of your team manager/ security/ store manager and questioned at length...if you can't remember the transaction in question you're screwed.
I don't think customers realise just how security conscious Boots are...

I dont work at boots or anything, but I agree with what youve said, the other day I was asking a boots lady at the till for an application form and she forgot to give me my change an hour later in another boots store I was searching high and low for the so called change I recieved, off I went back to get my money, and they have cctv's trained on each till.

The clearance sections in all stores on oxford street are really poor at the moment. Bond street (small store) had a small clearance section the other day. It might be worth trying the store just off oxford circus. I haven't been in there for ages. Actually, You might aswell try all of them. Piccadily circus branch might be worth a visit too. Have fun:D
