Instead I got nail and cuticle cream -- which caused my nails to split and crack!).

Not sure if it's a coincidence skibster, but I had to stop using the nail and cuticle cream too. I thought the cuticles were sore because I'd been filing papers away, and it's easy to catch yourself isn't it? But as they got worse, I stopped using the cream, went back to another brand, and they're fine now.

I'm not even going to attempt the mascara.

  • Just seen this info on the Health Club site. Great news for those of us who use the half price offer:

The most popular benefit exclusive to Health Club members is the half price offer on selected health products. Click here to see the full half price product list. This offer is open Health Club members of all ages. It was due to finish in April 2008 but due to its popularity we've extended the offer to October 2008 just for you... so make the most of it!!

    Had a great bootsing today.
    Bought
mande lular sensuos body souffle £8.45
    Mande lular bath creme £8.45
    Both reduced to £2 so £4 minus £3 coupon = £1
then 2x mande lunar bath creme £16.90 for £2 each minus £3 coupon =£1
    then never seen these before
Mande lunar sensuos shower oil £6.45 x2 for £2 each again -£3 coupon =£1 so for £3 £46.65 worth of sanctuary but no gwp.
Hesitated for ages because small shop and rather stern looking sales assistant who could have said no to coupons but she said I don't know whether this will work on clearance but will try and it did work.
Apparently they are due a refurb so changing the number of lines they stock so will keep on looking in here until it closes.

 I felt much the same today, visited three different Boots shops and still left feeling that something was missing!
We need more glitches/bargains, Mr Boots! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I second that !!! There's nothing to drag me into Boots at the moment and I have started going to (whispers) "other shops".
(Although I did pop in yesterday for the S&G Showers Set :T:rotfl:).

Never heard it before but :rotfl: I've often heard "Looks like he's just lost 4 rolls of wallpaper" though I think that's a reference to something else lol

I'm a boring person. I've nothing Boots related to talk about :o

You seem a bit less chirpy  Don't let 'em get to you ;):D x
    Ooooh, I spotted a shopping list :T

    Hi All

I am still here :) Feeling much better about my whole boots nightmares because I put together an email of complaint tonight and have sent it off so am just hoping I get a reply tomorrow (are customer services open on a saturday?). My OH is on nights this weekend which means he will sleep until well after lunch tomorrow so hoping to go to Hessle and see if they have any after sun lotion. I managed to get 2 Ambre Solaire gel Factor 15 from there the other day which were marked down to £3.15 and went through at bogof :D (they are 12.99 usually) - just hoping there will be some reduced after sun to go with it. They seem to be expanding the Hessle store so have had quite a few reductions lately although they dont stock S&G so may have to take a trip to another store. Would try Kingswood but after my fiasco with the SA the other day I don't know if I dare - saying that, with it being saturday, it might be full of saturday girls who are always much more friendly!

Is everyone else well? Seems a bit quiet on here tonight.

    Jo xx

I think everyone is in the bath, beautifying themselves (like i've been trying *emphasis on trying!*to do for the last hour :p ). Hubby says I have to use it now i've bought it ! That's fine, just makes room for more in the future :T

Might get one more visit in before payday (20th) so hopefully there will be more bargains about !

Just out of interest, i've not long had my AC (bout a week) but I don't seem to get many good offers from the ACM - is it because i'm new?

    Hiya Jo :)

'Tis quiet isn't it? Jo, don't expect a reply to email that quick - mine took over a week, but I know of others that have had replies after a couple of days. I won't comment on what you've said here ;), but I know exactly what you mean (about Boots nightmares).

Btw, I was in Hessle a week ago, and it's a nice little shop isn't it? :)
