What does your solicitor say?
I would in any case ask for a full set of both the original accounts and the revised ones to see just what has gone wrong. If it's genuine errors then I fear they can ask for money back. You are entitled to a full explanation - if they do take you to court they are going to have to produce one there so they might as well do it now.
Don't get too hung up on the jewellery/antiques - second hand, on a forced sale (which an executor's sale is), they are worth a lot less that when sold in a posh shop.0 -
