Half price food from M&S

M&S are doing a promotion in which various items in different food sections are half price.

The ones I saw today were:

Unsmoked Back Bacon - 250g, now £1.44
Strawberry Trifle - 500g, now £1.09
2 Syrup Sponge Puddings - 2x105g, now 99p
Puff Pastry Strawberry/Rhubarb Pie - 525g, now £1.24
Smoked Salmon Pate - now 69p
Chicken Fillets - 500g, now £3.24

I will have a look tomorrow and see what else I can find.

There is also fresh pizza half price to £1.49.

Enjoyed a very nice stonebaked cheese and tomato pizza for my dinner last night.

Saw a few more offers today:

2 Chicken and Mushroom Slices - 330g, now [/B]99p
Count On Us Lasagne - 400g, now 99p
Chicken Dopiaza - 350g, now £1.89

Other things that are on various offers are:

New Potatoes - 1kg, 99p
16 choc teacakes for 99p
6 Melton Mowbray Pork Pies - 300g, 99p

and raspberries, strawberries, nectarines and cherries are all on half price or 50% extra.

Some of the offers finished today but some more will be starting up in their place.
They are keeping the half price food on for a while, they will just vary the products that are on the offer.

whilst sale shopping the other day in the marble arch branch, i was amazed to find a whole fridge of end of day reduced food. all mu local supermarkets have always done this and i have picked up many a bargain. but besides the odd promotion i have never seen reduced to clear food in such abundance, i was stunned. thankfully not for too long though as i filled with trolley with yum food that i cant usually afford. is this a sign of the the future for m & s ???

Oooh, I wish I'd popped into Marble Arch that day, it's my 'local'. I wonder if they'll be doing that again? What time of day were you there?

They do this every evening from about 6.15pm.

Most of the above offers are still half price in my M&S. They also had:

Carrot and Coriander soup (fresh) now 99p
Chilli and rice now 99p
Sweet and sour chicken (half price but didn't notice how much)
