Okay, my first contribution as we are halfway through the month...

Sold some car seats on ebay for £225 that I would have left sitting around in the garage, if I hadn't joined up to this thread.

And found 20p in the street!

Have made a few ££'s on clicks and quidco, but am not counting the money until it has actually hit my purse.

I did have a go at the bingo but got off to a lousy start. I tried Mirror bingo for its free £10 no deposit required, but didn't get the £10. E-mailed customer service twice with no response, and then spoke to chat help - who told me to e-mail customer service!

Can anyone recommend a more reliable site for an absolute newbie to bingo sites?

Many thanks for the thread and the motivation x

Hi Ciara, I think I must have stolen £2.50 worth of motivation!
Treated myself at Boots yesterday using vouchers & when I came back home realised they hadn't taken one of my vouchers off:mad: I fumed for a bit and then I rang up & I can go back through the week and get my £3 back...:j
seeing as I haven't really spent unnecessarily (at least on me) since last lent it was abig treat for me to go and do it in the first place!
I have also done loads of cleaning 'cos we have staying company tomorrow!

Hope nothing serious at the Doctors.
I need the dentist - can't put off in case I'm struck off! So tha's where this months monies will go.

Well, I've been so busy making my £10 a day for March, that I've only just realised I haven't posted in the thread yet :o.

Spent this evening listing another pile of [strike]junk[/strike] treasure on eBay, theres only so many times you can trip over the pile before you have to do something about it.

I have a weakness for buying shiny bits for my motorbike. I added up how much I'd spent last year on it and was more than a little surprised (didn't dare tell Mrs Phlik  ). Decided this year that I would only spend 'free' money on it :D ....so I need to raise lots to feed my habit:rotfl:

  • Well, I've made a grand total of nowt today

On a positive note, I've got rid of some [STRIKE]crap[/STRIKE] quality items through freecycle so the house is slightly less cluttered (but a big mess til I sort the rest out! Listed a few bits n pieces on play.com, really need some motivation/luck/long-lost-relative-I've-never-heard-of-dies-and-leaves-me-a-fortune soon!

Ask this earlier but didn't get a response...should I count credits on Quidco that are status as tracked towards marchs challenge?

It's up to the individual how they want to count their money towards the challenge. Some people wait until it's in the bank account, some count every penny they make on clicks as soon as it's done.

Personally I don't count it until it's on its way to me and I know it's about to deposit.

You don't 'have to' sign up to the thread first - it just seems that people are appearing, asking about the Bingo (questions which have already been asked and answered here) on this thread, which is not a 'Main Bingo' thread, and then vanishing - its sort-of abrupt and doesn't really contribute to the thread at all.

I had read through the main bingo thread, and the question wasn't answered, and I did a search on this one and nothing came up. I have been reading through this thread since the beginning of the month, but bingo was the first thing I tried to do for the challenge. Unfortunately I don't have anything to "give" at the moment because I haven't been able to do anything yet. If the aim of the thread is to help and support people, it doesn't help that the first time I pluck up the courage to post for help I get my head bitten off.
