Internet Vouchers - Asda

I went to Asda today and handed over the usual bunch of money-off vouchers at the check out. The cashier handed me back one that was an internet voucher. She said that Asda had stopped taking them.

She admitted the policy was a bit of a shambles, saying "One week we take them, the next we don't. It changes all the time." Has anyone else encountered this?

I suppose I can use it on my next couponbuster trip to Tesco!

I had a right one in Asda today,I decided to go to another Asda instead of my usual one which I do not have any probs with.
I handed the cashier my coupons and she said "I can only take up to £5 in coupons" so I said "ok",she then took £2.50 worth and said that was all she was taking,I told her she needs to check out Asda's policy the same as I had done.

I don't bother with internet vouchers any more. More hassle than they are worth. 9 time out of 10 the bar codes don't scan and most cashiers won't manually input codes. As a general rule if the cashier doesn't take all or some of the vouchers I don't complain. However I find Tesco more amenable than Asda in taking vouchers.
