Just back from tesco and both the Daily mail coupons
scanned fine without buying the magazine0 -
It depends on the policy of your Tesco. Lots of them will take them- just hand them over at the end- only one of each kind- and say ' I've got some tokens- will they scan?'. My Tesco will take them; my Asda's won't. My sister's Tesco won't take them- it depends on the individual manager's policy. Look back through the threads - there are lots of threads on Tesco coupon policy or similar.LilMissEmmylou wrote: »im new to this whole voucher thing - does that mean they work if say i go into tesco, do my shopping and these vouchers will reduce the cost? even though i havent bought them?

Welcome to the thread- its been a bit slow lately on the coupon front but these coupons today are , in essence, what the thread is for- although we do enjoy all the other offers.0 -

Option 1 to claim 1 free bag send a stamped address A5 envelope to the value of 70p
OR call 0844 8489370 with your credit card details, giving your payment of £1.25- or fill in a form with with a cheque
or to claim 3 bags as above with £3.50
The bag is one of the standard cotton ones- handy for folding in another bag but not as durable as the jute ones, with the Telegraph logo and Telegraph ECO friendly on it.
Was tempted by this, they've got a similar offer in The Mail, but call me a snob, (ok call me a Guardian reader) I'm not carrying a bag around with Daily Mail OR Telegraph logo on it...Anyone know if the other papers are doing any without logos?0 -
ive just given them a call and they said that as long as its an item they hold in stock they should take the voucher - so hurrah
will have to give that a bash on monday/tuesday when i do my next big shop
Thanks a lot0 -

I think its unlikely- after all if they can get the advertising they will... but I had some from the council who were handing them out at an eco fair or a stall in town- so keep your eyes peeled. Was tempted by this, they've got a similar offer in The Mail, but call me a snob, (ok call me a Guardian reader) I'm not carrying a bag around with Daily Mail OR Telegraph logo on it...Anyone know if the other papers are doing any without logos?
