First time post, so I hope it's in the right place. Can't find it anywhere on the chat forums so hope this helps a few people.

Back by popular demand, Lovefilm are doing a 3 months for the price of 1 offer.They claim to have brand new features, and so forth. I left because they were getting slow and I didn't use it as much but I think they might have gotten better now.

Signed up for this again last week, fast turnaround again from them, but as other people on these forums have quoted, the company always seems to do ok during the free trial.. lets wait and see how they do

Most likely you'll find even the service on this free trial is poor - if you search round forums, they seem happy that you get 1 months worth of service, spread out over 3 months

Just left them myself, after getting annoyed at delays of approx. a week or more in turning around dvds once they had arrived with them.

I'd recommend Screen select for more consistent service.

My service was good over my 3 month trial... think I may cancel again to get another trial.

Im on lovefilm and screen select and they have both gone slow after being with them for over 3 months - cancelling them both

I cancelled with love film 18 months ago! Just had a debt collection agency on my back for £120. Not very happy

as it it said on many posts, I would not touch them with a bargepole, i have just sucseeded getting my 14.99 back from a 'free trial''.

I just left them last month! I was on 3 dvd's service, at times I was just getting 1 dvd a week, poor service, and poor excuses.
I found with others that they start off well then slow down, something to do with priorities, i.e. new users given higher priority,
at least this is what I was told

Only worth it if u get a deal like this else not worth the hassle

i have been with lovefilm for few mths, good at first but very slow sending out new dvds. i have complained loads but they dont care.
When they receive my returned DVDs r=they wait at least 24-48hrs before sending out another DVDs. So if you are lucky you can keep your quota of DVDs each week.
I much prefer screenselect, more quicker service and they dont wait before sending out a new DVDs.

maybe if more people complained to lovefilm they may improve, other they improve.

Same here as atpug. I only take their £15 for 3 months offer as they are poor after the 1st month. Make sure u return and cancel about 10 days before next payment due. I did this and have no problem. I'll take their offer again as £15 for 3months isn't much even thought I know they are poor after 1month.
