Home working.

Where do you find these jobs ? I'm currently on IB through exemption and find myself in a position trying to pre-empt the government's new plans. I must face the fact that I may lose my IB and will need to do some part time work, preferably from home with flexible hours because of medical reasons.

10 years ago I had a job as a Quality Control Engineer for a firm that manufactured /stocked broadcast equipment for the media. I was also involved in manufacturing for 4 years, design/draughting for 4 years and computers with a part time job of night club DJ. My last job was to start a QC department writing a database to collate and analyse all Inspection jobs.

So what can I do at home, I've lost most of my contacts for draughting from home and indeed no longer have AutoCad and I'm too old for night clubs at 41. Besides this my medical problems stop me from holding down a full time job.

Any ideas ? I have a post in the Job section of this site but someone from another forum suggested this forum for a better response. Thanks in advance.

  • Can I ask what your on IB for? As my OH is a claimant and cannot return to full time work due to medical reasons also. He is doing survey sites of which there are quite a lot named in this forum and also things like pigsback and Quidco.

He is not technically working from home as he is a full time dad now, but he is earning a little bit of money from home.

Some of the other bright sparks on here will be able to help you out a bit better than me I'm sure, as I am still a relative newbie to all this

I have quite a few problems, but I think my exemption is for Cardiomyopathy (they don't tell you) and a major sleep disorder, is why I'm looking for home work which is flexible. Thanks for the reply.

    Hi,

Have you read through all the links in this post?

A few of the more popular work-at-home jobs are AQA/Texperts or sex/text chat lines, . You can also do matched betting, or free bingo

  • Thanks for all the links will have a good read. :)
  • Have you thought about the party plan type route, most of these are very flexible and have a low start up so you are not investing huge sums to begin with. I have been selling Usborne for almost 3 years now and find it works well.

Pm me if you want more info as the start up is very low.
