I think I can safely say a great time was had by all.

Thanks so much to the people who bought me drinks. I thought I'd stay half an hour, budgeted for a couple of hours and here I am 8.5 hours later....

Thanks to Wol for the great pep talk, sorry you missed your chips because of it but I loved your revenge.

Thanks to BB and the glasgow girl who waited with me for my bus.

    Thanks Smashed for offering help.

Thanks to Smashed and Numpty for organising it all, you're stars.

Thanks to the god of typing for letting me do this fine even though I'm slightly tipsy (*cough*).
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

  • flippin nora Ames - how did you get home so quick! Was that Magenta Line bus rocket fuelled!

Wow, what a lovely day. The rain held off until early evening when it had turned cool anyway.

A potted highlight sum up - fab people, phallic rocket building, thorntons toffees and cakes, purple drinks, talk of sex, more purple drinks, rubbish bar staff, blue drinks, woo woo's Total Eclipse of the Heart (well, Bunny's version of it!), lots of apples and a big row about cheesy chips with the management of the pub!!
    :rotfl:

it was lovely to meet more DFW'ers and catch up with those I already know and love.

I'm just hoping smashed, Wol, numpty and Z made it to the last train otherwise me and Jinky might have visitors!

Turns out me and Gingerste travelled up on the train together but didn't know and are getting the same train back!

I've got a date with Jinky for breakfast in the morning.....;)

Heehee I'm only about two minutes down the road by bus/car.

I forgot to mention Total Eclipse of the Heart, it'll never be the same for me now! And I'm still impressed we scared the metallers.
