I wrote to FO at the end of September 2007, my case has only just been allocated to a member of Staff 3 weeks ago, and I have heard nothing more. My case is with First Plus.

we sent to FOS early jan 2008 got reply back last week to say we were being allocated a case worker shortly.
also same dates for NEMO( as we sent in 2 seperate complaint forms ) and have had the same reply.
will keep you posted on any response

sent my application for PPI from northern rock to the FOS october 07, had 5 letters from them so far the last one on the 21st feb saying they were still not in a position to allocate me a case worker, and would update me again in 4 weeks

ive also got the same with a complaint ive filed against Lloyds TSB for PPI, 5 letters and still nothing
its only a bargain, if you need it or will use it.

19th Feb sent compaint to FOS (and sent form to HBOS as courtesy (ta Tiggrae!))
25th Feb received reply with reference number and "We are currently receiving very high volumes of enquiries and we will provide you with a full response as soon as we can."

    Will keep you posted.

OK, got some replies today - think it's just the next stage

"I am now passing this complaint to our casework support team to await allocation to one of our adjudicators."

Guess I'm in the same postition as baron777red.

Interestingly I included complaints about 2 separate loans on the one form and FOS have split these out into 2 separate cases.

Also got an acknowledgement that they had received my complaint against Lloyds TSB which I sent a couple of weeks ago.
    Debt in June-03 - £24,000
    Debt in June-06 - £8,500 (all on 0% cards)
    Debt in Jan-08 - £4,000 (all on 0% card)
    Savings greater than debt!
    Officially debt free!!! :j

sent covering letter and bank statements and other debts which are accumalating to FOS to see if we can go on the fast track system.
they wrote back to say our information has been passed onto a manager to be assessed and we will receive an outcome shortly to see if we are eligible.
