Good point chorlton & Tomstickland, looks like things are changing, with a new job opportunity and if i decide to go for it and will get a company car which no doubt will be a dreary oil burner, buts thats fine for hacking up and down the M1. Which will allow me the funds for a weekend car, to put the smile back on my face.0

I'm a green petrolhead!
I know it doesn't make sense, but who really cares?

...So where can I start to make a difference?
Not sure if this helps but this website offers free carbon offset on everything you buy online, including car insurance.
www.TheOffsetShop.co.uk
Does that help?0 -
Could you not get a fast big-engined car but convert it to LPG?
Or at least do your Institute of Advanced Motorists exam - you really learn how to enjoy driving by pushing your car and driving, but you do learn how to drive economically at the same time, the 2 are not mutually exclusive. And it costs hardly anything to do and can get you an insurance discount, so good MSE logic too!0
