This is a bargain if you don't mind being messed around, bought my one 2 months back from B&Q for 139.99....
But a word of warning, after just 3 weeks my washer would start, fill, stall for 10 minutes, empty and finish this is a known program control card problem which was fixed under warranty (fixed 2 days from reporting the problem) BUT not 4 WEEKS later its gone wrong again, this time on 90 and 60 programs with it filling up with no more that a mug of water and doing nothing, I have to manually feed water in to a level where it will kick back in and start the program, again no doubt its probably the program card  had it not been within the warranty period this card can cost anything from 85UKP!
I don't want to put a downer on this deal, when it does work the wash performance is very good!So many of our dreams at first seem impossible, then they seem improbable, and then, when we summon the will, they soon become inevitable Christopher Reeve (1953-2004)0 -
As an aside, does anyone else actually have this brand / model washing machine??
Have moved into new flat & this machine was installed - but obviously secondhand.
It started alright, filled with water, but just stayed stuck on the wash cycle for endless hours, didn't rinse or drain & ends up boiling the clothes
The landlord has now replaced it with a brand new - but same model - washing machine, (after a repairman stated previous one was faulty) - & it's doing the exact same thing on the first wash (???)...
Oddly the workmen who installed it (whilst I was at work) haven't left an instruction booklet that I'd have assumed would've been included in the packaging - and the brand's website doesn't have one for this model online.
At a loss as to how a brand new machine can be faulty from word go?
It's now been washing for 1.5 hrs (on the 40 degrees A class wash) & won't maually allow me to drain it or set on the rinse cycle. Is this normal? None of the other washing machines I've used prevous to this flat have taken so long!
Am a bit fed up now to be honest - got washing piling up & sick of having workmen in my flat daily when I'm not there0 -
it can be "siphoning"
pull it out and see if the waste pipe from the washing machine is pushed too far into the waste

NO....don't even think of this brand. I bought one of this brand last year. It had problem from the second week. It just kept washing hours and hours...I had to stop it manually. By the way, it was sold by www.Dixons.co.uk!0

Thanks for replies - I've since tried it once more on a different cycle & it took 1 hr 40mins to complete - so that's a bit better. The 1st wash ended up taking 3 hrs exactly - was just glad it finally finished!0

Are you sure that it's a Beko? The one B&Q were doing on offer was an Easilogic model (made by Servis I think).0 -

Hi,
because modern washing machines are designed to use less water that is one of the reasons they can take quite a long time. When installing the Beko the waste pipe should be connected at a height no lower than 20cm and no higher than 80 cm to expel the water properly and the cold water intake needs a water pressure between 1 and 10 bar to fill correctly. Pity you haven't got the instruction booklet as there are some extra options for rinsing etc - I know what you mean that its not available on the Beko website, maybe you could email them and ask for a manual.
Hope that helps0 -
I purchased a Beko washing machine about 18 months ago. I had not heard of the company but as we had a Beko fridge in work thought it should be okay. Wow was i wrong. I have three children under 5 so we use a washing machine daily and within about 2 months i had engineers out to repair it and on several occassions following and before the 12 months were up Comet agreed to write it off as a bad job and provide me with a refund.
The engineers stated that a brand such as Bosch are very reliable and two commented that they had this brand themselves. I decieded to buy a bosch from Comet and after searching the net found vouchers for money off, free collection of the old machine and free delivery. It may cost a bit more but I am now prepared to do this to ensure reliability. Maybe others have had a positive experience but i would not buy Beko again.
p.s. Which? website have a current offer to subscribe for 1 month for £1 (make sure you cancel before the 4 weeks are up otherwise they will charge you for continued membership). You can then check their reviews of the washing machines and brands for a professional opinion. You can also access all of their reviews during this period and why not print them off for future reference.:D0 -
Morning all,
I have had a beko washine machine and it has only just started having problems after 3 years of everyday use, and i'm sure that it could probably have been fixed chepaly enough, but at £50 call out charge from the people round here i decided to buy a new one. I think 3 years is good for a cheap machine. I have since bought this one from dixons, and it arrived yesterday, it is on as we speak and touchwood it will be as good as the last one.
I think as with all brands, the majority are absolutly fine, but you get the odd % that dont do the job they should. You get this with expensive brands as well as the cheap ones
purchaseruk, i have the manual, let me know if you want me to scan it and email it to you.
