I wanna cheap to run printer

Looking for something basic for my son. The main criteria is the availability of cheap third-party replacement cartridges.
The last printer I bought was a Canon MP130 and I could get cartridges for 85p each! Something like this would be ideal.

Try the Canon Pixma i4500. I subscribe to a digital magazine and they said this all rounder is the best and cheapest with good quality photos at the moment.

I can't get cheap third party cartridges for my Pixma? It is a different model, takes PG40 and CL41 I think.0

Thanks but its an ip4500 I think. I couldn't find anything for an i4500.
Anyway 7dayshop do the inks for this at 1.49 each so just under 6 quid a set. I'll keep looking for the best deal!
Hmm, most places are charging at least 3 quid per cartridge on these. 7dayshop is the only cheaper place I can find and they will be over 2 quid plus inc P+P they are very slow to deliver.
Any other contenders?0 -
